The Honda 4 stroke 2hp motor is a good choice for powering your Good Dog with a gas outboard motor.  This motor has a built-in one liter capacity fuel tank and is very fuel efficient.  Also, it has an idle clutch mechanism which is a nice feature when steering with an extension handle.  With this feature when the throttle is twist to the idle position the propeller will go into neutral.  This eliminates the inconvenience of having to lean over and flip a transmission switch to idle.
